In Greek mythology, Melete was one of the three original muses before the Nine Olympian Muses were known. Melete was the muse of contemplation, practice and implementation.
This is the fundament of our acting.
The MELETE foundation is seeking to improve and speed up
the communication between science and research on the one side,
and corporate investors on the other side, in order to accelerate
the transition process from science and research to market entry,
and therefore also to enhance the competitiveness
of the German and European economy.
Presently, the available venues to match donors and their individual preferences, as well as potential future investors with the needs of the research and development institutions, are insufficient.
We are looking for midsize companies, family offices, private individuals, as well as institutional investors, who would like to become donors or investors and/or are willing to participate in the anticipated exploitation of patents, licenses and spin offs, originating from this R&D transfer.
The founders and associates of the foundation have an extensive network as well as a remarkable record of successful fund raising and project executions, and can provide to donors and investors the required support for the selection process of their targets, which each investor can choose on his own.
Senior sector experts and the Advisory Board of the foundation make sure that only such projects will be evaluated and selected for investment, which meet the criteria for rapid market entry and a successful financial exit.
Our team is working in partnership with individual research labs
as well as national and European research and development
organizations and foundations, which will also support
selected projects through their own vehicles.
